Kammie is currently in process of receiving her Licensed Professional Counseling Holds Masters of Science in General Psychology, Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health counseling and a Master’s of Arts in Human Services Counseling. Kammie is a dedicated Mental Health Therapist with over five years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults with a deep commitment to client-centered care, Kammie, brings both academic rigor and heartfelt compassion to her practice through life’s most challenging moments.
Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of areas, including substance addiction, mood disorders, anxiety, and comorbid disabilities (the presence of two or more mental health conditions in the same individual at the same time). She also works closely with individuals navigating family issues, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, divorce, stress, and has specialized training in Trauma related challenges, specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) trauma processing. Whether guiding a young person through emotional regulation or helping an adult rebuild after loss, Kammie, approach is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and evidence-based strategies.
At the core of her work is a belief in the client’s ability to heal and grow. She focuses on helping individuals re-develop the skills they need to cope in healthy, sustainable ways—always tailoring treatment to meet each person where they are.Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time crafting and diamond painting as creative outlets that help me unwind. I’m also an avid reader and love swimming, both of which keep me balanced and refreshed. Kammie is available Monday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm last appt. Accept all BCBS & Aetna commercial Insurances. Self pay is $110 an hour for individual and $125 for couples.
